dear friends .. following is the situation:

B.Com (Correspondence- 3 yrs- have not attended any classroom lectures) from indian recognized university
Now got AEO as a book keeper.

22 points can be claimed for BCom Correspondence or NOT?

thanks

Depends.
You need to give us a breakdown of the total no. of years you have studied (attended school).
I am sure you did not do your primary and secondary education via a correspondence course.

22, in my view, will be a bit exaggerated.
You should use 20, which looks more realistic to me, to calculate your points. If you are then allotted 22, then good for you.

That looks good in my opinion.
Now, the question is do(es) your degree(s) state the number of years you have spent in achieving them.
I think that is very necessary. Again, is the institution recognized in the country of your study?
If you can answer yes to both, you stand a very good chance of getting 22 points.
All you will then need is the transcripts in a sealed envelope.

Actually, you may be looking @ 25 as you have 12+3+2=17 years of study!!!!

Note however that this is only my opinion. At the end of the day an IO will have to judge your case, the way he see's it.
