Correction on sponsorship family class Application forms!

Depends what kind of mistake.

Send a request via web form with the incorrect info corrected.

Yes but did you spell something incorrectly? Did you put incorrect info? Did you miss something? Did you put an incorrect date?

Question No:12a) Previous Countries of residence: During the past five years have you lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence (indicated above) for more than six months. I tick No instead of yes.. I lived in Germany for 8months which i forgot to fill in

Yeah, that's a problem. Submit a Case Specific Enquiry right away.

Ok yes that's quite a large error. I would send a new version of that form via webform. State your application number/UCI etc and hope that they will match it up.

Is it okay if i mail it to Case Processing Centre: Mississauga, Ontario
With a written note added to it
 
Thanks @WeegielnOttawa and @kcward7 for putting me through on how to correct my mistake. After E-mailing my VO letting them know about my mistake. I’ve got a reply from them Yesterday saying


Dear Sir,


Thank you for the email.


the file is in queue for review by the Migration Officer, the information in this email will be taken into consideration.


An exact time frame is not foreseeable at this stage.

Applications are processed in the order in which they arrive and some take longer to process than others. To check application processing times, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/information/times/index.asp but please remember that there is no maximum time frame for reviewing an application.


Our office will contact you as soon as the review is completed, or as soon as more information, documents or an interview are required.

What i don’t know is this. Will they ask me to resubmit the form again when they start to reviewing my file?
