Hi,

I landed in Canada couple of weeks ago. There is an error in height in my COPR and this will be copied to PR Card. Is there anyone who have faced similar situation?

I Googled & found this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/enf/enf27-eng.pdf. Section 5.5 A says:

Errors involving the client’s photo, signature, height or eye colour─Amendments to these items may be processed directly by the CIC (or POE; see 7.4 below) without reference to the QRC. The CPC-PR Card refers the case to the responsible CIC if errors come to light once permanent residence has been granted. The CIC convokes the client to verify and update the information as requested by the CPC. If the error is detected in the course of the client’s examination at a POE, the information is updated directly. Corrections are recorded on a separate Supplementary Identification Form [IMM 5455B] or in FOSS, if required (height and eye colour), and the IMM 5455B is forwarded to the CPC-PR Card. Corrections of errors that occur through no fault of the client do not involve a cost recovery fee. Similarly, downloading errors resulting from CAIPS to FOSS, e.g., Name-flag and Country of Citizenship, may be corrected at the POE through hand-written corrections on the archival copy, and corrections made to FOSS, without referral to the QRC.
As per this paragraph I understand that I need to fill out IMM 5455B and send it to "CPC-PR Card" at along with photo:

Mail address
P.O. Box 10020
Sydney, NS
B1P 7C1
(Address listed on: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/sydney.asp)

And no other forms. Do I need to pay any fee (i.e. cost recovery fee.) and how? I guess yes as the mistake was made on my part.

Could anyone please confirm if that is all I need to do?

Thanks

Is it a big difference? I mean 10, 15 centimeters or just 1 or 2? If the latter I would not bother..

Thanks polara69 for the reply. Difference is 3 cm. I actually want it to be consistent in all my documents like driving license. Anyways I called CIC and they instructed me to fill out IMM 1436 (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1436E.pdf) and send it to the address mentioned in the PDF. For those who're interested in 2018, there IS height on your PR card. I mistakenly reported my height as 20cm more than it actually is, and it got all the way to my PR card.

How do I correct the height in my PR Card? I sent the complete information and it was returned because CIC can not check my height
