Hi fellow members,
While submitting my online application in September, I mistakenly put my job title as Assistant Consultant instead of Systems Analyst in the job history. However, in all the supporting documents (including the undertaking and HR letter), I had put it as Systems Analyst. (nothing wrong with the NOC as the responsibilities are the same) Now, the request letter states that I need to provide pay stubs of my role as Assistant Consultant.
Thing is, I had put this title based on:
1. Responsbilities (due to project requirements, i was managing the role of an assistant consultant although my official title was still systems analyst)
2. Expected promotion to assistant consultant: I'm now an assistant consultant effective 1 Jan.
I know both these points are irrelevant as officially I was systems analyst at the time of submitting the application + my supporting documents also read the same.
How do I put this across in the LOE that this was an oversight on my part? Will they consider it?
Your guidance will be much appreciated as I have just 7 days to provide this.
Thanks!
