Coronavirus impact on TRV application

Hi All,

Is there any potential impact of Coronavirus on TRV? My application is approved and i have submitted my passport this week. I am not sure if VO will stamp and send the passport. Just thinking from that angle.

There is no impact yet unless Canada shuts all flights into the country. Otherwise you will still have options to fly in. From another viewpoint, a lot of VO's in affected countries are operating with smaller staff size - so things might take a bit longer to come back to you. As far as I am aware..

Goes without saying though that you should maybe check with your travel insurance, a must for any travel to North America, should there be any delay whilst in Canada that prevents you from leaving the country on time due to the situation.

Nobody knows how this may develop even though the press as usual like to panic everyone people should still be responsible travellers.
