I'm a US citizen sending my packet to my husband in Canada. Its asking for my US birth certificate for the Identity and Civil Status Documents Section...am I to send a copy of it? Its stating on my certificate that its illegal to reproduce it? What are others doing for this?

Thanks! I was thinking it was a stupid question but I hated to send it and then have it sent back because I illegally copied a birth certificate LOL
