I have had a Canadian tourist visa for a couple years now and I received my COPR recently and haven't done my landing yet. I plan to do my landing end of this year.

Would it be possible for me to plan a short trip to Canada (few days) using the tourist visa, without showing my COPR doc and triggering my PR?

Is your tourist visa even valid after getting a CoPR?

This used to be possible before but I don't know if it still is. They will see you have a COPR when they scan your passport. They question is whether they will say you have to land or not and trigger PR. You should be prepared that you may have to complete landing formalities when you arrive in Vancouver.
