Thank you
Note, I don't know rest of your file. But the copr expiry on that allocation seems - most of the time - to be keyed to either passport expiry or one year anniversary of medical.

If they don't get it done by that date, it doesn't mean end of the world/rejection. What happens at that point depends on circumstances - they could just extend the validity of medical if out of the country, ask for a new medical, or etc. New passport if that's the issue. If it's an inland app, it may not matter much at all.

Reasonably often it does mean they're getting ready to issue the passport request - but precise timing can vary a lot, which is why I'm being cautious. It's still a positive step just not final.

It is an outland application. I applied on 05th of October 2023, received AOR on 5th January and yes you are right my medical would be expired by the end march. All other requirements are completed (biometric, medical, eligibility and background). I have been for more than fifteen months. Therefore, now i am not little but too much frustrated

It’s most likely bc that’s when your medical expire .. they will ask for it before that time and sometimes they extend it for you to leave the country

I don't have much to add from above - usually they add the COPR# to the file towards end of process (note important, this is NOT the COPR itself, just an administrative allocation).

I wouldn't worry too much about the date. As noted, they often do extend them; they sometimes will also contact and ask if you are prepared to travel to Canada and 'land' officially (use the immigrant visa/copr to become a PR) before that expiry date. (They do this because it can save them the administrative steps of changing the validity period). It can depend a bit on country of applicant.

That's not a promise it will come sooner, but it can happen. Good luck.
