Does anybody called IRCC to check the application status? It seems they do not answer any questions on the phone.

Yeah the agents answering phone calls never provide useful info. They just say refer to your progress in IRCC website.
My waiting since April 2020 is over. Finally got the COPR yesterday. Wish good luck to everyone!

Yesterday I got an email from the MP's assistant. I was basically told that IRCC will probably return to full capacity after Oct 26 when the new cabinet sworn in. I don't know why, but that seems to be the message I'm getting. Fingers crossed.
