Hello, @legalfalcon

I recently received my AL under extended family exemption. I will be landing in Ontario and staying with my family member temporarily, but will eventually move to Alberta since AB is my nominating province. Hopefully when I land, is it okay if I have my PR card sent to the address of my family member in Ontario where I will temporarily reside?
Congratulations buddy. I’m planning on doing the same. I want to quarantine in Quebec corn 14 days and head to AB afterwards.
I called CBSA to make sure post March 18th with an exemption letter under extended family member are eligible to enter CA. They confirmed it.

Did you declare the extended family in your EE profile while applying for PR? I did not and I am not sure if I can now ask them now.

What do you mean by declaring the extended family in the EE profile? We received the exemption letter via email from IRCC.

Is there any clue when the travel restrictions would be (partially) lifted?
Or when they will exempt (valid) CoPR holders?

Don't onderstand why they send out CoPR's now, while they also let them expires....
That way they will have to work twice on the same application

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to announce that I got my authorization letter to travel to Canada under EXTENDED family travel exemption with a CoPR post March 18. My request was initially refused on Dec 8, stating that only IMMEDIATE family members are exempted to travel for CoPRs issued after the 18th of March. I still gave it another shot and resubmitted three weeks after and finally got the approval in 16 days.

So for those who are wondering whether or not PR visa holders with CoPR post Mar 18 are even eligible to travel under such exemption, the answer is -- YES WE ARE! So long as you disclose an honest and essential reason for travel and meet the necessary requirements, then it's worth a try

I specifically want to thank @K7moda and @legalfalcon for taking their time to answer my questions, I really appreciate it.
Just wanna give you guys an update.

I just landed yesterday night in Toronto. Covid testing was done after retrieving the luggages. The officer didnt ask for the IMM0006 form, AL from IRCC, not even a copy of my quarantine plan although he asked for the quarantine place. I was only asked to show my COPR and a negative PCR test result. But I would still suggest to have all your documents ready just in case. All the best to everyone!

I have the AL but I'm still anxious and uncertain whether they will let me in or not, given the fact that I am post March 18.

Same situation here. I hope the airline companies are also aware of this exemption...

My PRV and COPR were also both issued post March 18. I totally understand the anxiety, but have faith that everything will turn out for the best.
