Hello everybody, I landed three months ago in Toronto, I got my SIN ans PR card. Now I found out incidentally that my COPR was signed and dated but not stamped.( how I found out? I went for OHIP and the staff said my COPR is not accepted because it does not have an stamp on it. Probelm solved after I presented my PR card for OHIP anyway.) The immigration officer at airport forgot to stamp it.

You guys know that for future to provide historical proof of residency we need this COPR.

I tried to call CIC by this number 18882422100 but no agent picks up the phone and it's only a machine answering. Do you have any idea how to contact CIC and report the problem.

Thanks a lot

Generally they don,t stamp COPR. Mine also not stamped, no problem.

Mine's also not stamped, and I haven't had any problems getting a new SIN or other services with it. I don't think it's actually required to be. It's possible some official stamped a few, so they now think it's required.

You should have an entry stamp in your passport which corresponds to the date your COPR was signed?

if you did an exit via a port of entry i dont think they would stamp your passport but for airports i believe they would do that
