COPR letter - does it come through on email or via mail?

I paid my RPRF and sent my receipt, copy of passport (as I am from Australia and we are visa exempt) and bio data via email on Feb 21st.
Does anyone know if the confirmation of PR letter comes through on email (which is the method I have received everything so far) or via mail?
And also timeframe. Will it be weeks or another month approximately?

Do applicants residing out of Canada need to provide CIC with a local mailing address in Canada ?

if you are residing outside canada all your coresponding address should be where you live now, if you give canadian address how could you get your copr????

I don't think CIC will send any mails to addresses outside Canada. For e.g India.
If you can provide a c/o address of your friend or relative, the CoPR can be sent to the applicant later on. I hope my thinking is correct.

i'm applying form outside canada, i gave my local address and the copr will be send to my local address outside canada, when you are applying from inside canada, then you have to give a canadian address.
you can possibly give a canadian address if your sponsor is in canada to receive your email and forward it to you

I started my Pr process as Canadian experience and just got the final decision. I had sent my Passport in order to get the COPR. I wanted to know how long is the estimated time for the passport to be sent back to me. so far has been 5 weeks; i have not been able to contact them and I would like to plan somethings. does anybody know?

I have been waiting 3 wks and I didn't have to send my passport as I was visa exempt so I'm just waiting for COPR letter. I did notice on the email they sent they had my old address on the letter but when I check in computer my address is the new correct one. I have my mail rediverted from old address just in case. I emailed them but haven't heard anything back.
Anyone else experience this.

normally it take around 6-8 weeks to get the passports back in mail with COPR just hang it tight you are almost there

HI,
My electronic application status was updated to decision made two weeks back. Since I haven't received any mail, I was wondering if CIC sends the COPR documents by registered mail (DHL, Fedex etc) or regular mail. In case they do send it by registered mail would it be possible to get a tracking number from CIC?

I had submitted for an outland application.
