CoPR LANDING DESTINATION QUERY

Hi,

I would like to know if I will be required to land in the destination mentioned as per my CoPR i.e. Winnipeg or can I land into Toronto? If this is a hassle, I would skip it.

In case, I am allowed to land in Toronto, is there be any probability of being questioned by the immigration officer about this or is it generally overlooked? Would I need to show onward bookings to winnepeg i.e. flights and stay or am I allowed to be honest about living in Toronto.

Bare in mind, there are no direct flights to Winnipeg. Most of them are via Toronto - would this be an issue?

Depends how you applied for PR / through which immigration stream. You've provided very little info so difficult to answer your question.

you could land any where in Canada, you have to demonstrate you will be there with a Canadian address (final destination), air plane tickets, etc.
don't worry
have a great landing

and no reasons will be required by the officer for the change in city?
Is this mentioned anywhere on the CIC website ?
