COPR Issuance: Request for passport processing time

I received a letter from CIC in early December 2020, asking me to mail my passport to their office in Ottawa, the passport and other documents were delivered on 24th December and since then I haven't gotten any acknowledgement or any sign of activity. This week I filled up the webform asking about the status, but I don't expect to hear back from them for another few weeks.

Just wanted to see if anyone else is also on the same boat ? If you also mailed your passport at around the same time, please let me know how long did they take to process your passport for COPR.

Around one month. That was the time took for me. Just be patient.

Some people are waiting for more than a month nowadays, I'm currently waiting for 1month and 8days. Passport was delivered 21st December.
