Hi Guys,
Need some advise, i want to cross border this weekend, received my COPR yesterday however noticed that there is an error on my original entry date, i came to canada on Sep 7th 2007 and last entry was in august 8 2010,

but my COPR states last entry date as original entry date. although on my old passport i have the stamp of original entry.

Please advise

My COPR does not have any entry date!

My original entry date is set to same as my last entry date. I don't think these matter, COPRs frequently have these errors.

Have the officer at the border correct mistakes on the CoPR.

mine was reverse. my last entry date was incorrectly entered as my "original entry" date.
i returned my passport and copr. they sent it back as is. an immigration officer sent me an email and called me to let me know it won't prevent me from landing.

so, i landed, told the officer while landing of this error and he didn't change anything either.

Hi,
I have the same problem. Can you please tell me what did you do finally? did the officer corrected for you or you sent it back for correction before landing?
Your reply can be very helpful for me.

Thank you!

I had the same issue in my COPR, my last entry date was mentioned in my original entry date section. When I went to border 2 days before, CBSA officer has asked me to write a original entry date in a piece of paper along with mailing address and after that he didn't asked me anything and my landing was done successfully. I think he might have changed it but that doesn't matter. Because once I signed the COPR in front of CBSA officer, he told me that I am eligible to apply for citizenship in another 2 years. So CBSA officer might have corrected mine based on the information which I gave on the piece of paper.

In my case, the first entry and last entry dates are the same and don't correspond to the dates on my passport.
I guess it can be fixed in the airport, but not sure.
I called cic many times and I couldn't get the right answer. One agent told me that I can go with my landing and another one said that I have to correct if before. I feel confused!
I also sent an email to CPC-O, but didn't hear from them yet.

Don't bother with those (first entry, last entry) dates. Only mistakes in major things are important (name, DOB, etc). So go for landing. It'll be done without any problem.
