COPR copy in lieu of PR card copy for outland spousal sponsorship application?

Hello Everyone,

This has perhaps been posted earlier, so my apologies for repeating..

I'm being asked for a copy of my PR card as part of my spousal sponsorship (outland)document package.
Given that I landed less than a month back, can I submit a copy of my COPR instead? Do I need to submit a letter of explanation with my COPR, perhaps? I did not find anything on the instruction guide that addressed this.
Please help!

Yes, submit a copy of the COPR and explain that you haven't received the card yet.
