Hello,
I have an approved CoPR and visa stamp on my passport. When I applied, I did it as a single applicant and receiver my visa and CoPR as a single (unmarried) applicant.
But, now i am getting married here in the US and my wife is a US citizen.
I am not planning to sponsor my spouse and add her to my application. Can I enter Canada without making changes to my application, since i am not sponsoring my spouse?
Also i’ve heard from my friends in Canada that when someone enters Canada, they can let the border patrol officer know about their marital status change, so they can update it in the government records right away. Is that true?
