Hi all,
I have a doubt: Iam wondering what is the Confirmation of Permanent Resident (COPR)? I always read that this should be given to the immigration officer when landing together with the passport.... where do u get it from?
Also, for the PR Card, as far as I know, the application is done when landing-------do u need to take pictures with u? or are they taken there? Thank you!

COPR is a form you get at the same time you get your visa. The visa is a sticker in your passport.

When you complete your record of landing you hand over the passport and the COPR. They will cross through the visa (since that is for 1 time landing only) and fill in the COPR form and staple the back copy of the form into your passport.

PR card is automatically applied for at the time you land, if you can supply a Canadian address for it to go to.
They do not take pictures they use the pictures you supplied when you sent RPRF etc (the picture which will actually be attached to the COPR form). Only if these pictures are inadequate will they ask you to get more photos done.

Hope this helps,
Wayne.

Thanks Wayne! :)
How about the forms B4 / B4A (Goods to follow) and Goods Accompanying List. Since I will be there just for a week, I wasnt planning to take a lot of personal items , just a small suitcase.... Will they still check these forms as I read in a previous post? Also, are pics from personal items required too? Thank you for your answer!!!
