CoPR and/or PPR for in-Canada applicant with spouse not in Canada

Hi, I am applying with my wife together under CEC, however, she is not in Canada. I am curious about how IRCC finalizing such cases for PPR or CoPR? Would really appreciate it if someone who is in such case to share the experience. Thanks!

as of now, it's experience is rather sad. My husband is main inland CEC applicant, me with kids outland. Got PPR March 8, passport had been in Ottawa since March 12, then in the middle of June returned unstamped, without CORP and no expalanations. We even had ADR on May 27!! schedule A again both for me and husband. Why is this, I wonder, if we already had our PPR. Called CIC, raised form, addressed even to PM this Thuesday and had a response that it was forwarded to IRCC Minister. Comlete limbo and frustration. And I heard, many of us in the same situation. Hope it will change by the time when you have your PPR

It's unbelievable that they are sending ADR. Is your husband's current status in Canada expiring? I saw many CEC applicant are finalized through an email of CoPR, hope this will also be your case.

my husband is on his 3-year PGWP till July 2021, one more year ahead, so no issues with expiring temporary status. We hope that some close-to- today day we will get this PR email, thank you. I wish your immigration process is smooth and fast. Hoping that by that moment when your turn comes, CIC will learn to deal promptly with PR applications where main applicant has outland dependents

Hi, we are in the same boat. I am the principal applicant and now living in Canada. My spouse is in my home country and is ready to travel. Our COPR was issued in March and expired in June. I called IRCC several times but was told to wait until further notice. We are in a special situation: one applicant is inside Canada and the other is outside. Hope IRCC will take proper action for us soon.
