Hi, guys, I hope you guys are doing better. I have a question:

I finally received a request for remedicals after my COPR expired June 15, 2020. Back in 2019, when I submitted my original medicals, I declared I had mild ADHD and depression and I was on medication for that. The medical office back then requested a letter from my psychiatrist and an official translation into English. COPR was approved January 2020.

Are they going to ask me if there has been any changes to my health?
If so, should I declare again that I have the same conditions? Things have been the same, except for the fact that I changed psychiatrists.

Best regards

Dear Wotsit,

I am appreciate if you can share your landing experience with us in term of ArriveCan, Goods to Follow form. Thank you so much.
The ArriveCan app we filled in before hand, we had to register every person travelling. They checked before we flew and on landing.
Our children weren't vaccinated and had we had to fill in the ArriveCan app every day of the quarantine.
We had no goods to follow and the form wasn't asked for.

Thanks for your response. What if I don't want to open an account? Can I do both when I move permanently?

As a PR, you have to file taxes even if you make no money in Canada. You will have to show SIN and tax filing for the last few years.

If you still don't want to get a SIN that is your choice.

Received our 2nd COPR today...thank you everyone for all your encouragement and support..

I do have one query and appreciate if some could help me..The new COPR is missing one of my husbands middle names which were in the old COOR..will it be an issue in travel? All other information is correctly updated...

I recently sent my passport to NY VAC. They said they will forward it to IRCC. Anyone know if they send the passport to IRCC Canada location or Canada embassy in NY?
Hi, did you apply as a family? If so were you asked to send multiple packages? One package per person even if you are part of the application? This was suggested by vfs to me. Appreciate your response.

Thanks gtscan29 and bhaskar for your valuable suggestions.
We are a family of 3 who applied for PR and we got IRCC passport request letter and they mentioned in letter that All required documents must be submitted in one single package to VAC NY. However, VAC NY mentioned that you cannot submit your passports together and it is one applicant per package. I have below questions:
1) I have made payments for 3 of us for two-way shipping labels. Once we receive the shipping labels, how to send package for 3 of us to VAC New York.
2) If we need to send 3 package separately to VAC NY, then:
a) do we have to include the passport request letter in every package along with Appendix A updated information?
b) If above point(a) is true, then in Appendix A, do we have to mention all 3 applicant information and send the same Appendix A info in separate packages?
3) Also, my child is US citizen, I hope we don't have to send her passport instead the photocopy of her passport photo page and two photographs would be enough for her.
4) Will VAC NY send a single package or separate packages to IRCC?
Thanks everyone for your support.
I am in the same confusing state :-|.. What did you finally do? Calling vfs, they say the same thing. Of course they have an incentive in making us send 4 packages instead of one.

Time line and VO please? I would suggest calling in IRCC office since it’s a very case specific question, don’t think anyone here can be much of help.

heartiest congratulations.
My advice based on personal experIence it to ensure that all names always match to the one in the passport. Better to clarify with Abudhabi office who issued the copr.

Many Congratulations!!
Does your husband middle name appear on his passport? If yes, then you should contact the VO which issued your COPR.

Check the page 4 of your PPR mail. It states: Once you receive your Permanent Resident document(s), please verify the information on it is correct. If there are any errors, such as incorrect spelling of name or incorrect date of birth, please inform our ****** office via the IRCC Web Form: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp immediately. Your name will appear in the same format as it appears in your passport.

Do we require multiple accounts for every person travelling or a single account by primary applicant in which we register every person travelling?
