Hello - We live in United States and have Indian Visa. We received an ITA on June 21st but since we had a baby on March 2021, we had to add him as a dependant to our profile. We did that and sent our passports and other related documents together with it on July 9th which was received in Ottawa on July 12th. The dependant (baby) was added to our profile on July 28th. We have received no response or our passports since then. It's been 3 months without a passport for us and no response whatsoever from IRCC Ottawa. We have plans to travel to India but do not want the passports back without the stamp. Has anyone faced such a long delay?

Hello all, I am working in the US with an H1B visa and I have received my COPR today. I wanted to check if the land borders are open to travel back to the USA after validating the COPR. Ideally, I would like to do this as a day trip in a car, but not sure if this is still an option because of the Covid restrictions.

Please provide your thoughts.
TIA.
How long after sending your passport did you get it back?
Our passports are with Ottawa IRCC for more than 3 months.

Yes, my VO was Ottawa originally.
Good to know, Mine too. Are they routing all US based candidates (expired/new COPR/PPR) to VAC New York? I am trying to understand the current situation. I remember sending my passport for stamping to CPC Ottawa when I had received my first PPR.

I guess so, not 100% sure. When I got my first PPR last year in November, I had to send my passport to Ottawa, but this time I was asked to send it to VAC NY.

Thanks for all prompt responses!

Hello folks,
Is it worthwhile to wait for re-medical request from IRCC or do an upfront medical (after responding to the ultimatum email)? Will submitting an upfront medical report shorten the waiting time to receive PPR for expired COPR holders.
Hi, IRCC clearly states not to do any upfront medical before they send us medical instructions

Anyone got remed request or ultimatum mail from Singapore VO? Thanks in advance for taking the effort to respond. Gives hope to other people…
Hi, not sure if this helps - my VO is Ottawa but I live in Singapore and I did receive the email and remed request recently

Hi, I am AOR Jan 2020. I have not received any email. A week after border was open in June my profile moved to we are processing but nothing since then. Is there anyone in this situation? Is there something I am to do to trigger my do you want to immigrate email?
There’s nothing you can do except wait. I dont believe your AOR determines how quick you will receive the email. There are people with earlier AOR that are in the same situation as well.
