COPR and coronavirus

Hey guys, I just received an email acknowledgment from VFS. I had filled the web form around 8:20 am.

My COPR was issued before Mar 18 2020. But it expired in June 2020. After my expiry I tried contacting IRCC Couple of times in the month of MAY, September informing my ability not to travel.

I have been checking Canada PR program website quite some time now. At one point of time they mentioned only applicants who are willing to settle completely as Canadian PR Are welcome couldn't travel at that time as IRCC Requested many documents which are not with me. Now I they mentioned IRCC will start contacting applicants with Expired COPR. But in my case I haven't received any email. Totally confused.

At this point I am scared if my COPR Is cancelled or is it valid. I also saw Canadian borders are going to be opened by mid of august. Please let me know what can do in this phase to re initiate my COPR.

Tried Contacting IRCC On phone multiple time all I hear is " Call cant be completed due to high volume"

Reaching out to them through phone is difficult, however I would suggest reaching out to them via the webform and explain your case. If IRCC has not sent you any emails so far then I don’t think you would need to enter the pool for ITA all over again. I think right now they are prioritising student applications since their classes are to start in September and they are many students whose visas are still being processed, so it could be possible they may reach out to you in some time. I remember someone mentioning on the forum that they replied to the email after the due date had passed and still they saw movement in their profile after that, so I would encourage you to have some hope.
I received the email from them in April but since then nothing, I can somewhat imagine how much this ambiguity must be pinching for you.

most people who are single applicants did not get a confirmation. secondary applications are getting emails. don't send a second one, your first form will be invalidated and you'll have to go all the way back in line. they have put this warning on submission page:
If you have filled the webform once, please do not fill it again, as duplicate requests will be deleted and you might have to wait longer in the queue.

Strange that only the Dependants are getting the acknowledgement email and not the Primary applicants.

Got the email for me + dependent. Thanks guys @DixvilleNotch @idhar_chicha @CNP for reminding me to remain sane.
This whole process is now almost 3 years and it can get to your head sometimes!

Hi Guys,
This new web form for passport stamping that opened today is only valid for people with new PPR request right? People with expired COPR who have not been contacted by IRCC yet need to still wait for IRCC? My COPR was issued in Jan2021 and expired in June 2021. Still waiting for IRCC to contact.

I did my re-medicals in 28th April 2021,
Results got updated in profile on 8th June, 2021.

There has been no update in my account since then. I know there must be others in similar boat, would really appreciate if someone could assist what should I do ? I have been waiting patiently for a very long time now.
