COPR and coronavirus

My parents COPR was issued pre march 2020 but could not complete their landing yet. They have a visitor visa that expires in 2022. Can they still travel on that visitor visa and enter Canada when the borders are open for foreigners?

Little update on sending webform for submission of passports.when VFS are closed.
Today,I had called at Canadian High Commission.I asked the operator,may we send the passports to High commission as we can see VFS are closed.She said it’s not possible.I asked do we need to send the webform to inform you.If we are not able to send passports with in 30 days because VFS are closed.She said it’s ok.it’s understood by us.You dnt need to send.
I asked when can we expect to open VFS.She said we are monitoring can’t comment on this.

I am post March expired copr holder.
Do you think is it a good idea to take medical check up in advance without request and send via web form in order to speed up the process?

Hi, I’m also post march copr holder but wouldn’t do that since there’s not even news about our situation? From what I see it looks like ircc is still busy with the pre march copr people. I don’t see a point of rushing to get another med check up without being requested by ircc.

there is no change in medicals etc.
Except that they have started whole process again. I mean revieing eligibility, processing background etc,
and visa numbers are all gone.

I'm a post March COPR holder which expired in Jan 2021..It seems there is no definite answer on the way forward..except for the email we received on 18th March which says we need to wait a bit longer

Waiting for the re-medical request. Several other members from my city have already gotten their PPRs though.

at this point ,seeing the rate how fast offices opening and moving, rather than PPR, i feel we should request for AL and leave.

Hello guys,

I have received my AL to travel before July 19th, and clearly mentions that my COPR and PR visa which were expired in dec 2020 are now valid until Jan 2022 - but no printing will be done on my passport, only the AL should be shown to the airline i am flying with.

Is this enough for them to let me board the plane? Or will they need to see a visa print on my passport?

I am worried they will only see my expired visa on my passport and ask where the new one is? Or is it fine if it is only mentioned in the AL that my visa and copr have been extended?

Flight booked in a month from now... Anyone been in this situation?

Please when your re medical had been approved if it was requested ? Did yiu resubmit your passport? Thank you..
