hey guys I too just got an update on my IRCC account todaay that i just checked .They have updated my COPR counterfoil details only till Feb 27th, 2020. I too didnt receive any 4pt/ 7pt email, no remed request, no regret mail , nothing just the generic replies to 4 RTT webforms that i sent in Aug-Sept-Oct-Nov. When will we receive our ALs?? Such a short period of extension they have provided.

Looks like IRCC is moving the applications so that they can be processed later.

Anyways raise webform or call IRCC for the reason of issuing new CoPR and when will AL be provided? Make sure to demonstrate your readiness to travel.

Yes, currently valid. Was wondering if if can be extended given the fact that the CoPR and PRV were also extended. @legalfalcon Please also advise on this. Thank you.

AL can be re-issued. But if you are not prepared to travel then you should hold on to request an extension. When you are ready to travel, then you can request for a new AL. However, currently IRCC is asking all applicants to not send ant webforms asking for AL. Instead IRCC will contact the applicants themselves.

@legalfalcon Hi can you help with question although it was discussed before. We (my common law partner and I) have expired Copr with AL to travel until 31 Jan. I am in China, she is in Singapore and have to travel separately. I will be the first (primary applicant), she will follow in a few days.

Can we do this? I broke my head what to do. Gov website says 'should land together, if possible'. What if we cannot, can we travel separately? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can travel separately. The wording is clear, "if possible." In your case it is not. However, you as the PA is landing first, so there should be no issues.

Received a letter through GC key which states to provide Proof of settlement plan and Proof of an acceptable quarantine plan.

My destination is Regina but can I Quarantine in Toronto as I have sister there and she will take care of all essential service. After quarantine I will move to my destination so during Quarantine can I finalise my lease agreement.

After raising 3 RTT long back I received CIO mail then I received re-med and now they are asking the plan

If you are planning to quarantine at your sister's place then make sure to have an email from her mentioning about the stay details such as private room and private washroom for you. Email should also mention about number of people already living there and assurance about food and grocery arrangements for you. You can upload that email for IRCC's reference. All you need is to convince the review officers that your quarantine stay is up to their expectations.

Regarding settlement provide your bank statement with enough funds and your employment plans.

If you would be quarantining in Quebec that that could be an issue but I think for other provinces it should be fine.

no we havent received AL. waiting for it. maybe in the next few days it may come, or i will mail IRCC about it then.

Hi guys

People who have received the 7pt email (Sub: Are you able. to travel to Canada soon) and have replied in the affirmative, can you share your experiences please?

What is to be expected after we reply. Will IRCC request for supporting documents? Or CoPR validity will be extended directly and AL is gonna be issued?

Please note that as per the 7pt email I received, my meds were extended automatically. Also i had previously raised a RTT webform in october and attached all supporting docs like quarantine plan, itinierary, POF etc.

They do respond when they process the webform. It usually takes around 2 to 3 weeks. For me it took around 1 month.

If you have sent a webform to NDVO then you would be lucky if you get a response from them.

people whose COPR is being extended are they receiving new COPR via email?
or only counterfoil details are being update in mycic account and they need to carry old COPR?

As new in this thread.... my situation is as below :

PPR 19/10/2020
CoPR 04/11/2020
CoPR expiry 07/03/2021

I couldn't travel because of the restrictions, and I have doubts I can do before Mach 7th.

My question is After my COPR is expired, will Medicals be extended or should proceed again with remedical ?
