I got my PPR on March 9, 2020, my self and my wife submitted our passport March 10th and our passport got stuck with vfs. We then had a baby who we added as a dependent. We don’t know What to expect as far as waiting time for a new ppr. Please advise.

Did you add your baby after getting approved for PR or before?

Hey guys. Hope everybody is keeping safe. I currently reside in USA on F1 Stem OPT due to end july 2222. On march 12'th I received a COPR for canada which is due to expire on 2'nd October. My initial plan was to just touch down in Canada and return to USA, complete my 2 years in US and then move permanently to Canada. However, given the current situation in the USA, I would be running a huge risk of being denied reentry if I do travel out of the country. With this in mind, would it be possible for me to extend my COPR date via webform? If so, what possible reason could I give?

Thanks in advance!

Anybody else have trouble signing in with their GC key ? I can't seem to be able to sign, the page is saying there is some interruption.

Is this with everybody or just me?

Ditto - Server is down for some reason.

Maybe it's prepping to send a mass wave of COPRs to all of us ... ;)

Yes. We added him(baby) after getting ppr mail, our profile still have not shown approval and I doubt if they have stamp our passport with the visa.
I am not sure much about this process but if you add a dependent after approved PR then it starts from scratch for the dependent as it is not on the same file.
Its best to ask IRCC about the progress.

All the best

you can send the webform, they'll process it only when they are ready i.e. after flights resume and their full operations start.

Looks like IRCC are purposely delaying the COPR extension , because most of the visa offices of other major countries are back online !!! There intention is highly suspicious , July is also going to finish, I can assure you there will be law cases flying as there is no consistency in the process.
Not all visa offices are open and the Canadian staff left many countries.
