My medical again says passed on May 19,2020(They did not request any re-medicals). They haven't mentioned anything about extension. But profile has been changed from approved to in progress. Anyone here who is in the same situation as me?
Which visa office issued you copr?

My copr expired on May 12, 2020. I raised a webform to let them know I cannot travel due to the pandemic. A case officer had reopened my application and profile was updated with medicals as passed. It says Medicals passed on May 19,2020
As per my understanding they have changed ur medical date with current date so they should be valid for next 6 months from may 2020 .Right?Where was your file processed and where did you get copr ?In India or USA?

You hold a Canada visa so you’re good to go. I had my personal experience with Frankfurt and Munich connections for more than 10 times, I never required transit visa with Indian Passport having US visa.
Yup that sounds good .Thank you:-)

Hi,
Sorry if this has already been asked before but does the address proof that is required for applying for sin online need to have our name on it? Or will a relatives bill/document showing their name and address work?
Has anyone gotten sin since service Canada shut down? The post option is pretty risky since that requires us to courier our original passport and copr.
Any help from someone would be really great.
I am in 14 day isolation right now. Can I apply online using my relatives address proof? How long does it take to get sin online? Anyone has found a way around getting the sin? Since without it we are literally stuck.

After security tagging on your luggage you will reach at the Air India counter in New Delhi Airport where the staff for issuance of boarding passes and luggage tags Is deployed. Request her/him to tag your luggage till Toronto. That’s it.

Hi
Did you get both boarding pass at Delhi Airport? including AirCanada flight?

Hello,I am planning to go via air india and air Canada ( connecting flights).
Since the lugggae allowed in air india is 2 bags and luggage allowed is 1 bag in air Canada, where are we supposed to pay for the extra luggage as per air Canada.?
I hope I don't need to collect my luggage at mid airport and then again check in for air Canada flight.
Please please help, since you have already followed this route and your advice would be most helpful.
Thank you
I've done that, you can add extra luggage at the check-in desk, I paid something like 85€.

Hi Everyone!

My PPR date is March 12th 2020
FInal decision date is May 6th 2020
I got my COPR delivered to me on May 13th 2020.

I'm currently in USA and need to travel to Canada before June 15th.
I called IRCC to ask if I can travel and they say that my application approval date is March 12th 2020 actually and I should be fine to travel (given anyone with approval dates before march 18th is allowed to travel).

My questions is - is PPR and approval date the same? (found this link also https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...cedures-finalizing-approved-applications.html)

Anyone in same situation and did travel to Canada recently? What proof did you use to show your date of approval?
Thanks!

Same here, I can't find a way to get a proper proof of address. I managed to create a bank account online with TD Bank but I still need to wait 14 days before I can activate the account at one of their branch. My wife already received a job offer but without a SIN she won't be able to work...

I am also looking for answer to above mentioned questions..Also i need to know what could we show as secondary proof to apply SIN? As per my understanding for primary we can use our COPR document.

This question was asked earlier also.
As an address proof for applying SIN online one can upload a Rent Agreement which is not to be notarised and in a standard format which every landlord or person you are planning to stay with must be aware about. In Vancouver these type of agreements are just of one page and in Toronto the standard format is of three pages. It’s quite simple.

Wow that is good news. What is your local office? Did you email the local visa office too? My copr expired April end but status is not changed yet.

I am in a similar situation. My PPR is March 11th and the IRCC portal shows that the final decision was made on May 13th. If what the IRCC agent told is true, it is great news! So crucial part is to figure out how people tell when their application is approved.

My application status changed to "Approved" after I collected my passport with VISA stamp and CoPR. Getting a PPR does not mean that your application is approved but it is last step to get your application approved.

If you read first few lines of you PPR email it says "To finalize your application, we require:"

That is what I thought. But this post suggests otherwise:
