My Copr is expiring on Aug 19.
I am planning to book flight for Mid July
I have experience as BA in Finance
Do you think I should plan travel or should I ask for a extension?
Also the job scenario looks bleak, I have an MBA and Current working as a BA. Will getting a job be difficult in Toronto?
Please help me decide as unable to make a decision.

Mid of July is so far and you still have some time in your CoPR expiry. If I were you then I would access the situation in June or one month prior to my planned travel and accordingly ask for an extension. Regarding jobs for your skillset try to do some investigation by surfing some Canadian job sites on internet. I hope you will get some idea about the job situations these days.

The reason I was concerned was ticket cost and 14 day quarantine planning.
As if I book now, rates will be comparitively low but if things don't open up, I may have to cancel and will lose that amount
Regarding jobs, I see there are few of them, but again thinking for them 2 3 months down the line, I am not sure
Based on booking ticket, I have to plan my current job in my home country.
This uncertainty is too much right now.
Any answer would be appreciated.
the agents may not know about it, print the exemptions from the ircc website/twitter pages. you can show it to them. I didn't print them and showed them afar from my phone, only then did they call someone. Otherwise, they were denying me boarding.

I also have the same situation. My COPR is expiring in July and I am also concerned about leaving the current job until the dust settles.
But for the time being I am just waiting for another 15-20 days.If things do not get better by then, I am planning to raise a web form to extend my COPR.

Just updating here if you have raised a webform for extension and your CoPR is expiring soon.
I called IRCC after listening to IVR for 30 mins and got a generic response that they are not able to view my application status as my VO is outside Canada. Agent also appreciated me for doing the right thing by raising the webform for CoPR extension. Agent also assured me that I will not be penalized if I am not able to travel to Canada within my CoPR validity in COVID19 situations. Other than this agent told me to wait and keep checking for any updates from IRCC as things are evolving. In short, agent was very supportive.

My COPR is going to expire day after tomorrow ie April 30th.i have already raised a webform on 13 th April saying that I won't be able to travel before the expiry of my COPR due to the complete lockdown in india and asked for extension.i got a generic reply as others.Do I need to raise another webform to IRCC after April 30 th saying that my COPR has expired and I didnt travel before the expiry of the COPR..Kindly provide your suggestions on this..

There is someone here whose application was reopened for extension after 2 days of CoPR expiry date. Maybe you can wait till next week and check you application status. If no update then raise the webform. You can ask for extension even after your CoPR expiry as per the process published by IRCC.
