Hello, but its posted on same website we all are on and discussing the same. has to be an authentic source.
It depends on who is running this website and their interpretation of what's happening, as far as we're aware border agents still haven't been given confirmation of what's happening so how could the person who runs this website?
I wish we could rely on "feelings" and positive thinking, but there are so many things at stake, especially when you have dependents and a relocation is a HUGE life choice, that we need an official declaration from the IIRC regarding our status. I can't take the risk of going to the airport and being denied boarding. I am already an expat and relocating not from my home country but from a country where my residence visa is cancelled and will be expiring in a month time. Once I pass Passport control, I will not be able to re-enter the city, simple as that.
No, that's not good enough. We need to hear it directly from IRCC that people with PR visa and COPR can travel to Canada during the travel ban.
At this point, i would accept just having it confirmed one way or another, what their official policy is, whether or not we can travel.
It seems like a major oversight. If we can't, okay then just state it explicitly.

The problem is that IRCC is very vague. It only mentions that if you hold a CoPR and CANNOT travel, then you should fill a web form. PRetty sure this confused the airlines as well ! What I want to know, is that if we CAN travel, what's next? Can we board a flight to Canada? Can we do our landing and enter Canada? No info at all from official sources!
Is this really true? I can't seem to find anything on IRCC website.
I have flights booked for April 15th.
Might want to switch to the Light side of the Force if you want to maximize your chances of being allowed entry to Canada!

This implies that people in possession of COPR can travel to Canada. But will the airlines actually allow us to board?

This is my exact problem. Allowing a passenger to board a plane is at the airline's discretion. I can't possibly show them these FAQs to convince them that I can do my landing!
I was supposed to fly to Canada tonight, but the airline has barred me stating they can only allow citizens and permanent residents to travel.
So unless IRCC gives official confirmation that they will allow COPR holders to land, then we are just treated as foreign nationals who are not allowed to enter.
I completely relate to the frustration, because i have already quit my job, and what is the point in looking for another one here when i'm due to land some time this year?
It feels like a punch in the gut to be honest. U.S citizens are allowed in but us, people who have made all of this effort, in order to settle there permanently are left in the lurch?
It feels bad.
