FLIGHT BOOKINGS:
People who've booked their flights in the month of April or so on, please don't cancel your flights till March 31st at least and wait for further updates on travel plans by the federal government. If the situation gets better and Canada re-open the international travel, then you're safe with your flight bookings.

All airlines are coming up with full refund policy (with no cancellation charges) due to Corona virus, so please give sometime and wait for more updates before your last date of travel. If you see no benefits or better situation, then you should cancel your flights at last.

AIRBNB BOOKINGS:
If you cancel your reservation, choose the COVID-19 (coronavirus) reason, and Airbnb will ask your host to approve a full refund. If host decline and you decide to cancel, Airbnb will still give you the service fee as a coupon for your next trip.

If your host approve the request, you'll get the full refund.

Hello sir,
Are you flying to Canada tonight or you dropped please confirm sir . Actually my husband went to Canada in 2018 December, last Saturday he came to hyderabad ( india ) to take me and kids with him but the very next day morning we came to know about the travel advisory mail stating that boarders are going to be closed so fly as soon as possible so he preponed 27th of march flight tickets to 22nd of march but again heard the news that they are not allowing the COPR holders. Me and my kids are COPR HOLDERS, so stress levels are like hell , please reply.

Just contact your airline ask them if they will allow you to board the plane. Problem is with airlines. Once you r in Canada they will accept your landing. As per cic.gc.ca they encourage approved PR and copr to land

There is absolutely no guarantee Canada will let you in, this is not good advice.

Airbnb is issuing direct refunds now, actually depending on your date. I just got mine. This is their official policy:

Reservations made on or before 14 March 2020 for stays and Airbnb Experiences, with a check-in date between 14 March 2020 and 14 April 2020, are covered by the policy and may be cancelled before check-in. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund, and hosts can cancel without charge or impact on their Superhost status. Airbnb will refund all service fees for covered cancellations.

The host’s cancellation policy will apply as usual to reservations made after 14 March 2020, and to reservations made on or before 14 March 2020 with check-in dates after 14 April 2020.

I've not been allowed to travel, so i've cancelled my plans.

The airline told me that only Canadian citizens and permanent residents can travel.

As we're COPR holders, we are not officially permanent residents yet so we simply count as foreign nationals and the travel ban applies to us.

I think it will be very unlikely your husband will be able to travel on the 22nd of March. Start making alternative arrangements, and inform your travel agent you will not be able to travel.

This is unless IRCC change their policy and allow COPR holders into Canada during the travel ban, between now and the 22nd. I think that is very unlikely.

Guys you can keep on discussing here but it will not help. The hard truth is Cancel or postpone your tickets. Airlines wont let you board at this point. So, wait till this thing settles down. Raise a webform and let IRCC know. Thank you!

Yes, I know Lufthansa is giving full refunds.. They're also giving the option to travel at a later date by December 2020 The same policy applies to other Star Alliance flights as well.

If one can get a confirmation from Canadian Embassy that COPR holders are allowed to enter Canada, then the airlines will let the passengers board. That's what I was told by British Airways. So I'm guessing this applies to all airlines too.

Called Air Canada, Called CIC, Called Canadian Borders service agency, sent 2 webforms, sent mails to Visa centre and Sydney federal.
My conclusion, is: Fill the webforms for the federal and visa centre (2), and Wait &see..
as the Yakees say: Keep Your eyes on the price.
I am pretty sure CCIC will come up with more news Guys !
Patience for now....my visa will expire on 18th april, exactly 30days
