Thank you guys for your suggestion.
I dropped a reply yesterday on the same email (DO you still want to Immigrate?).
I mentioned that my medicals were completed and updated in the system on 8th June, 2021 & I guess they woke up.

I have received a Request Letter in the name of Primary applicant and not for the spouse.
Also I see a passport upload link only for the Primary applicant.
Should I wait again on should I raise a webform/email to inform them that they haven't given Request letter for spouse/dependent.

Thanks in Advance,
:)

Congratulations!! A good news after a long time! I’m a single applicant so I don’t know about dependents, but as far as I understand, passport documents should be one document per applicant. You can consider scanning your spouse’s passport and emailing it as a last resort.

Have people received anything from VFS after passport delivery? How long does it usually take to get a tracking number after the package is delivered?

When did you receive "Do you still want to migrate to Canada" mail? Did you contact your VO or they automatically sent you the mail and remed request?
I didn't get do you still want to immigrate email, I sent a mail notifying IRCC of the expiration of my copr and also enquired what I could do as I would be willing to land immediately.

And if that is the case for all of us, we should expect delays in receiving passports back. Dont underatand the logic though

i think the vfs is only a sorting facility. and they probably dont have enough VFS staff in New Delhi. So the regional VFS likely sorts and does some legwork and send its to NDVO for visa stamping?

On VFS side, I understand. However if a city already has embassy/consulate, why not stamp there?

The Consulate in Bangalore is closed due to Covid. So visa stamping can't happen there. It has to go to New Delhi. This is posted on IRCC website "To reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Consulate General of Canada in Bengaluru is temporarily closed. If you need consular assistance, contact the High Commission of Canada to India in New Delhi, by email or telephone."

I'm guessing there are similar constraints in other cities too.

On BD website my Status shows "On Hold As Requested By Shipper". I am the "shipper", right? Is anyone else getting this status. My package is headed to VFS Chandigarh.

Hi i got email on 19th april and replied to it on 28th . Later my medical request on 25th June did it on 10th july then passed on 19th july. Now waiting for pasport request
What did you write for
1. approximate date/week when you want to travel to Canada ( do you think it would impact the way they process it)
2. What could be your travel itinerary, including any transfers, you would use if IRCC can re-issue documents for you and if you were to purchase plane tickets soon? (asking this as direct flights from India are ban as of now)
