URGENT HELP REQUIRED

Hello Friends,
We got our COPR before 18th March 2020. Our COPR got expired in July 2020 and I thought I will raise RTT in Jan 2021 when COVID situation will improve. However, after that CIC mentioned on website that we should not contact them.
Till now there is no mail from CIC for 'Ready to Travel' or anything till now.
Can you guys please help what should we do now?
We are kind of waiting for now for 2 3 months and dont know exactly what to do and life is standing still.
Are CIC sending mails in ascending order as per dates of COPR expiry or any other order.
Is there any email Id where I can write to them explaining the situation?
Please help.

Hi.. Doesn't seem like CIC is sending emails in any particular order.. you could call up IRCC to understand the status of your application or extension process using a calling app like TextNow.. Otherwise, there is nothing more you can do than wait..

I am planning to call IRCC via this calling app. Just a question, would this be ok though since outland applicants cannot actually contact IRCC. Will they respond to my query?

Hey guys one off topic question but I will really appreciate if any one can help me here.

I am a Canadian PR and recently visited to India, now I want to take my mother ( she has Canadian visitor visa) with me to canada . So will we need to write to ircc for authorization letter for her travel? Their website says immediate family member doesn’t need an AL to travel .can anyone help
No she doesn't need AL if she has a visitor visa. My mother is also exactly the same case as my brother is a Canadian citizen and she is going to travel on May 1 without AL. She will need a copy of your PR card and some document showing your relationship.

Can a copr holder's parents travel with them in a similar way i.e. without AL?

Hey guys,

Something strange just happen to me.

Like a few people in this group, I received a "Do you still want to immigrate?" email. I responded to it using the template that was provided. This was almost a week ago.

About half an hour ago, I received an email from IRCC.IN-RROC-CORR-RI.IRCC@cic.gc.ca with the subject: "URGENT: IRCC requires your action or response immediately / IRCC requiert votre action ou réponse immédiatement"

But it had no instructions in it (blank) along with my template response in the trail mail.

I replied to this email requesting for further instructions. There is as yet no update in my profile.

Has something like this happened to anyone here?

Thank you so much let me know about her landing then or share her experience so that we also can keep certain things in mind if required

Congratulations!

AFAIK, there are no instructions from IRCC for post march 2020 copr holders as of now. There maybe instructions with COPR

There are some rules that exempt post march copr holders from travel restrictions and allows them to land.. check canada.ca

In my view, with all the hotel thing and option email, this is good news as they may be thinking of removing travel restrictions to post march copr holders..
