COPR Amendment

Hello,

I received my COPR. The marital status is stated as 'Single'. But I am married and spouse/dependent details in COPR is entered correctly. While this is the case, the marital status is my spouse's COPR is stated correctly as 'Married'. I noticed this only today while I have booked my flight tickets for day after tomorrow to Canada.

I have my job offer in Canada and I have to report to my employer in 4 days time. In this case, can I apply for amendment after landing in Canada or I will not be allowed to enter Canada?

Kindly advise and help me on this at the earliest. I am highly worried and sleepless.

Do NOT worry..

This will not affect you in any way. I have done my landing recently and had the exact same situation.

Although, I have been in Canada for over 4 years now. I just informed the immigration officer about this and he told me there is nothing to worry about as their records show that I am married.

Hope I am also facing no problems during my landing. Could you elaborate me on the statement "as their records show that I am married" in your reply. I guess they are the immigration forms that I submitted in my application to support my marriage.

Last week I received my COPR and it has my old CSQ number, instead of new one which I received after I applied CSQ for my wife. received. The later CSQ I received has different file number with the one I submitted when I filed my application. In this case, should I need to file application or the Amendment or directly go for flag polling.
