Anybody knows about applying the coop work permit along with the study permit after june 1st changes.

Offer letter states 6 months internship.

NO the new immigration rules has changed. if you want you can write me in portuguese. The new rules are as following: you need to get a letter of acceptance from a designated institutions in canada, which means an eligible school. Once you receive your letter of acceptance and you have a study permit issued you no longer need a separate visa to work. Upon arrival into canada you may direct yourself to canada services and get your SIN number, which allows you to work in canada for the duration of your program. You must bring your work permit to get a SIN issued.
