So your unpaid co-op with rogers is 37.5 hours per week. Not an issue if this is your co-op as the 30/hours are considered the minimum for full-time. An average work week is 37.5.So i have a part time job which consisted of 37.5 and 75 hours of training for 4 weeks with rogers during my coop term (unpaid) with college which usually shows 30 hours / week . Will it create any problem while I apply for my work permit?

You are confusing the two permits. You have a co-op permit through your program and you can work (paid or unpaid) for as many hours. Your part-time job, you can only work 20 hours per week off campus. So how many weeks for Rogers did you work for more than 20 hours?No ive two jobs … one as co-op unpaid which is 30 hrs/ week and another with rogers as part time technical support consultant but they provided us 3 weeks of training , which was 40 hr paid training, (37.5+37.5+37.5 hrs) and since now i got to know that i cant do part time ,that to paid, with so many hrs, I’ll leave it, but will these training hours affect me when I apply for my work permit?
Is your Rogers part-time job part of your school program (you need the job to graduate)? If not you can’t work more than 20 hours per week for Rogers.Yes, more than 20 hrs im on my co-op work permit
It shouldn’t affect PGWP but you did work more than 20 hours per week. Fortunately it wasn’t long term. You can’t work more than 20 hours per week for Rogers from now on.Ok . But since now i have worked under training with them for 3 weeks , will it affect while I apply for my work permit?

From now on only work up to 20 hours a week. You can’t work one week for 30 hours and the next week for 10 hours. Again if you only worked more than 20 hours a week for a couple of weeks then it should not be an issue. I say “should” because it is against the rules but should be okay if you only did it for a few weeks without realizing.Ok.. my concern was just that if i worked for more than 30 hrs in a week under my part time job,but for shorter duration of time , it won’t affect my PGWP , right ?
