Hey I have worked for two years in a restaurant in Canada as counter service, then I moved to a fancy restaurant and have been working there for another two years and the title employer gave me is assistant chef, I am by no means a chef, my duties ACTUALLY align with a cook not a chef. In all my forms so far for work permit and visa extension I used the same title of assistant chef mentioned in my payslip. Can I get into express entry pool as a cook if my employer gives me a letter explaining that it was his mistake? Do you guys have a suggestion

If your WP was under a different NOC it will be very difficult to suddenly change because you now would qualify under the trade category.

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that my employer will not give me a letter that confirms the duties of an assitant chef listed on IRCC website, either. My duties is more like a first cook. I do not know what to do.

You need your employer to give you a letter confirming your employment and your job duties . If they are unwilling to do so then you’re in a tough spot.
