Converting Work Permit to Permanent Residence

My current employer in India is planning to send me to Canada on a project for 2 years through LMO work permit. Is it possible to apply for a Permanent Residence once I reach Canada? I fall in the skilled worker category in IT Industry and I am interested to settle in Canada. Please advice.

I think you have good chances in converting your current status to a PR due to the fact that you could have an arranged employment. These are vital requirements in the incoming FSW rules and regulations.
