Converting my wife's closed work permit to SOWP

Hi, I recently graduated from my PhD and I am currently applying for a PGWP. However I recently got married and my wife already had a closed work permit in canada. However, now I will be adding her to my PGWP application for the SOWP open work permit. For the question 3 in the IMM5710e application which option should my wife choose: a) apply for work permit with the same employer or b) apply for work permit for the first time or new employer? Could you please help me with this
