Converting IELTS scores to Canada points (Not CLB level) - Please help!

Hi Guys,

I'm going to apply for Canada immigration.

I've got the following scores from Sep/6 IELTS exam:

Listening: 7.0
Reading: 6.0
Writing: 6.0
Speaking: 8.0

My question is: What's are my overall points (out of 24) based on the above results?

Please help me to get an answer. Your timely response will be appreciated.

Listening: 7.0 = 4 points
Reading: 6.0 = 4 points
Writing: 6.0 = 4 points
Speaking: 8.0 = 6 points

So total you get 18 points

At least a "6" in all four sections (Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening)

CLB 7 = 6

Shall i successfully qualify for FSWP 2014 with following IELTS results.

Seniors, please help me out, i am trying to apply FSW 2014 program right now and my IELTS score are

Listening 6.0
Reading 5.5
Writing 7.5
Speaking 6.0

Overall 6.5 bands

Shall i successfully qualify the language proficiency requirement, because i want to apply before January, 2015 to avoid Express Entry program, an early reply will be highly appreciated.

You are ineligible for FSW - the minimum score required is a "6" for all four sections. Therefore, due to the "5.5" you've gotten from Reading - it makes your results not eligible.

This is really an unfortunate for you that you fall under clb 9. You deserve clb9 as just the matter of .5 and you wont be able to claim maximum points if you are applying for express entry.

Anyways, your in terms of Canadian level benchmark you fall under clb 9 which is clb 8
