My neurologist doctor didn't identify any reason behind seizure. I did all report in Canada but all are normal. Now from last 1 year I am taking pills of that . I don't have any seizure now from 1 year .thank you for your advice
You will be fine anyone can get a seizure. I got mine 3 years ago. I got 2 one month I was shocked why how come but it can happen. I started my medication and never had a seizure again so far but neurologist advise me not to stop pills. Don’t lie, if they find your record they might create you more trouble. Let me know what happens I will pray for you

Hi all,
Guys I have suffered epilepsy seizure in the year 2002 and thereafter in the year 2007. However, thereafter I am taking medicine i.e. eptoin 100mg 1 tablet per day. Fortunately, not suffered any other seizure after 2007 and now I am applying for student visa Canada. My medical is coming soon now my question is whether should I disclose above problem to the doctor or conceal the same. If I disclosed then is there any chance that my file get rejected due the problem.

I am bit stressed kindly help me out.

Thanks in anticipation

Yes you should tell them, intentionally leaving something out is misrepresentation which can result in a 5 year ban from entering Canada. Stable epilepsy on medication is not a problem.

And if don’t disclose then can i take same med from Canada pharmacy?
First thing I did landing in Canada I waited till I got my health card. After I went in a walking clinic and they prescribed the same medication for me. After 4 months I met the specialist for epilepsy he suggested to change pills in something similar but with less side effects. Now I am getting the new pills every and I am doing fine.
