Contract job valid for PR?

Hi,
I have my work permit till June 2022. I'm offered a job as a full time for 1 year contract . So i am confused if i should go with the offer or reject it. As will it be valid for PR or not? Please suggest.

The 1 year contract will be counted as work experience. However it will not count as a job offer.
