Continuous Work History

Hey Guys,

I would like to understand how to represent my work history in the express entry profile.

I have been continuously employed with the same company since February 2013, however i got a promotion in April 2014 but i'm still in the same NOC.

Should i enter both positions on the same or separate lines?

My concerns are:
1. would it be considered misrepresentation of info if i enter my work history as February 2013 to present when it encompasses 2 job titles but i can only write the higher one?

2. will the system automatically consider 2 lines a break or will it take into account the continuity of months and year? (One of my job titles will run from 1/2/13 - 31/3/14 and the other from 1/4/14 to present)

Thanks for your feedback!!!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1 - As the NOC remained the same there is no need to create two entries.
2 - The continuity requirement is only relevant to meet the required ONE year of full-time work experience.

Thanks man! However, is there a positive relationship between your crs and continuous work experience i.e. the greater the number of years the higher the score received?

"the greater the number of years the higher the score received?" That is correct, but the work experience need not be continuous.

As my previous message the continuity requirement is only relevant to meet the eligibility criteria of the federal skilled worker program.

Hi Del, if someone works fulltime during their summer break (the person is an international student) can we count that experience or Hours for FSW?

Thank you for a prompt reply. No, I am talking my experience during I was studying in Canada. While I was studying in Canada In my summer break I worked full time as a Supervisor position and that was my full-time permanent job. I am planning to apply under FSW. Can I count that 4-month experience?
