hello everybody ! My wife contacted her MP last Friday asking why our background checks taking long and we got a respond says that my file now is with the border services , do you think that thats the last security check to be completed or is it still will go through other security checks ? i would really appreciate and answer ? thanks

You do realize that NOBODY here works for CIC and can look at your application, right? If your meds expire and they choose not to extend them, you will have to re-do them, there really isn't anything that anyone can do about that. I understand your frustration while you wait, but that is all you really can do is wait. When they are completed with your application, they will send you all the appropriate documents and such.
I didn't know that border services gets your file in order to do any background checks, so I would be more concerned about that statement than I would be about the potential of my meds expiring.
