Contacting MP

Hi,

I have a Family citizenship application including myself and my wife as applicants. We both gave our citizenship test on 18th February, my wife's test status updated in tracker on 20th February as Completed. My test status still shows as Pending (I scored 19 on test).

In the last 4 months, I have tried to send webforms, emails, GCMS notes request, I have not heard any response to any of it. I am at road block which is testing my patience and I dont know until when.

I read the next only thing I can do is contacting local MP. Can someone suggest if this is the right thing to do.

Also, if yes then how do I contact local MP. I dont know who it is and how much can this person. What should be ask to him/ her. IF anyone can help me in this that would be a great help to me.

Its not even been a year of your application. The only response you might be getting is " The application is stil under the processing timeline and we woudl not be able to do anything about it"/ However you can search for your Local MP online based on your pincode. Thei information would be available online.

I had contacted them earlier and were very helpful.

I took my test Feb 4th and I’m still waiting. You need to CHILL. Quit letting IRCC get to you. Do something else with your life and take away your focus from this.
I remember during my PR application I was in security screening for a YEAR! But it finally came. Stop disturbing MPs over nonsense because IRCC will thinkwe’re abusing that.

I totally understand what you are saying however; I have my own reasons to be impatient and try to find ways to expedite if I can. Also, I dont know why my test was invalidated. Anyhow, my only ask is if someone can help with what can be my possible options to do as a next step.

Firstly, I am not here to argue with anyone, before commenting on anyone's life without knowing what they do or they don't, try to be a little considerate as everyone's situation is different. So, consider if someone is trying to find ways to request to expedite a process then they would have their own reasons to try.
Secondly, everyone went through the PR process and understand the complexity of such processes (that is how they have reached the citizenship stage).
Thirdly, terms like nonsense or abusing is something I dont want to get into as this forum is to share your experiences, help other applicants and maybe socialize where we can.

I do appreciate the message you are trying to convey but there are better ways to convey the message. Anyways, thanks for your message, I get your point but I have my own situation to handle.

Apply for gcms notes via the privacy act. That should tell you whether your test was marked as complete or not. If not, email your test office (who sent you the invite).

I did apply for GCMS notes on 16th May however; haven't heard until now. My test office is Scarborough, I did email them couple of times but again no response.

Can take a while to get the notes. You can also call ircc and ask what's written on your notes. They can see it.

Contacting your MP is absolutely a food idea and worth it. If MPs have time for filing official grievances with Speaker over Taylor Swift not including Canada in her international tour, they can surely find some time during their busy schedules to assist Canadians. However, they are all on summer break starting from today.

The email I sent to my MP office had the worst auto reply compared to IRCC. They outright rejected to help till 19 months is done

For citizenship application, can look up status. Who is your MP?
