Is it advisable to contact Canadian Embassy in Delhi regarding status of VISA? Do they respond?

I applied on 29th Oct but haven't heard back, please suggest.

Delay does not guarentee a rejection or selection..
Every case is unique as a lot of personal parameters involved (VO)

Thus.. all u do is:

make sure docs r good..
file..

wait.. pray.. wait.. pray.. wait.. pray..

That is it..

Delay has nothing to do with rejection or selection. You got to wait for a few more days. I say until 20th of this month. If you don't hear anything till then, then you can email the Delhi VO regarding your progress. Email is the only way to get in touch with the Delhi VO. They won't pick up any of your calls. The email id is delhi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca .
