Hi everyone,

I had re-applied for a study permit online on 25th July with an SOP, study permit questionnaire and a letter of support from my adviser in U. Manitoba. I had already completed my medical formalities with my first application (which was rejected in July because I had not submitted a study permit questionnaire and SOP). I have still not heard from the Canadian embassy and the online status still shows "under consideration". I have tried contacting the embassy through e-mail and their online inquiry system but I have not received any reply. I have deferred my admit for Jan 2015, but I am really anxious about this delay. Is this delay common for online applications? If anybody knows additional ways to contact the CHC, please let me know.

Thanks a lot for all your help!

hey tania,
Don't worry that delay is normal, and they won't reply you but it still is in process. my friend had got his permit just 10 days before his classes were shceduled to start.

Is it mandatory to submit student questionnaire form along with the application for Indian students. It seems I had forgotten to submit it in my application :( I read the CIC website thrice filled and crosschecked the application around five times and today I came to know from this forum that I had forgotten to submit the questionnaire form of just two pages. Please please reply is it mandatory for Indians. :-\

I think the study permit questionnaire is mandatory. The first time I had not sent it and they sent me a message asking for it.

Hope u get ur visa soon....I m also going to attend UofM in jan 2015...what program r u going for

Sorry for very dumb questions, for online applicaiton I dont see anywhere online requesting to upload "printed copy of questionnaire which we initially completed before starting application "

Also, was there any "button/slot/place" to upload questionaire ?
