Hi everyone. This is the timeline of our Conjugal Sponsorship Application.


Jan 5 - Application Received
Feb 27 - Received enquiry
April 12 - Request of Medical Exam
April 13 - Medical exam in progress
May 30 - Eligibility in progress
June 27 - We received the Use of Representative Form
June 27 - Medical Day w/ the kids
July 2 - Medical exam completed

I havent heard anything since from the IRCC after the Medical exam completed. Has anyone experienced this before?

This is the stage that takes longest for all spousal applications, and 3-9 months with no apparent sign of movement is not rare. Conjugal sponsorships in general would be longer, sometimes substantially so.

I have read some threads here, most of their conjugal application took 5 months at most (eligibility in progress) until they receive another update from the IRCC. I guess every application is different from the others.

Conjugal sponsorship is the longest in all.. I have applied under the same in july 2019 and still in progress. It’s totally a nightmare, I meant the processing time.

Hi, I’ve gone under interview this May /022 and the very next day got the pre arrival services letter.
Now they are checking my background stuff, hopefully they’ll issue me the PPR this month.
But it was a long way to go and still don’t know how long will it take…

Wow, yours took 2 years already. Which country are you from by the way? When you say pre arrival services, what does it mean?

Sept 1,2021 app recieved
AOR NOV9,2021
BIO REQ- FEB 14,2022
MED AND SA- FEB 15,2022
BIO DONE- FEB 22,2022
MEDICAL PASSED- MARCH 21,2022


AFTER THAT NO UPDATES.. I HAVE BFD THIS DEC 8TH HOPE I GET GOOD UPDATES
