Confussing

These part of question is not clear to me, though i had a visa refusal sometimes in 2015 when i applied for a visiting visa @ the UK Embassy.


1. Has xxxx you been refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa ( including a Certificat de selection Quebec (CSQ) or application to the provincial nominee program) or visitor ot temporary resident visa to canada or any other country?



2. Has xxxx ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave canada or any other country?


3. Do i need to explain the visa refusal on the LOE & do i scan the visa refusal scan paga along?


I know some other members also had similar issue, pls how do i go about explaining this if its necessary.

The question 1 asks if you have visited any country in the statuses mentioned in the question - The answer in your case would be Yes.

The question 3 is if you have refused a Visa anywhere in the world. - The answer is yes since you have denied a UK visitor Visa. Attach a Letter of explanation along with the necessary documental proofs.

Both questions ask about a visa refusal so I believe both questions apply to you. Once you submit they will ask you to complete schedule A. in Schedule A the visa refusal question (the second one) is different from what is asked in express entry in that, the visa refusal part is not asked. I answered yes to both questions for my PR application and then explained when I got the Schedule A request why I had said yes to both questions.
