Confusion!

I am eligible to put my PR file under CEC category. And I am married so I am going to add my spouse as my dependant.
I am on the form number IMM 0008 (Generic application form for Canada).
in que 1 - select the program under which you are applying? I have the options of
Family
Economic
Refugee
Other
. and que 2 is select the category.

Now if I select "Economic" in que 1 then I dont have an option of choosing spouse in que 2. and if I select "Family" in que 1 then my file no longer will be the one under CEC..!

So what options I should choose in both que..!

So are you applying for CEC or Family Class?

If CEC, then select 'Economic' and then in Ques 2, select 'Canadian Experience Class'. You need to do this if you will be the primary applicant, and in additional dependents form, include your spouse.

And also they ask for CSQ.. whats that?? Is it "necessary" to apply for it? Because in form it gives you two options, if yes then provide your CSQ number and if no then provide the date when you applied for it..!!!!

CSQ is only for applicants who plan to reside in Quebec. You are right, you will be the primary and your spouse the dependent. She is automatically considered as a dependent accompanying you to Canada if you fill all the forms (dependent form) correctly.

You need to leave it empty since you are not in Quebec and not going to apply for one.

And a helper said that I have to fill out one additional dependants form for my spouse. Bt it says in document checklist that this form should b filled,dated n signed by the principle applicant if the principle applicant has more than five dependants.. so what should I do in this case??
I am applying under CEC. Me as principle applicant n my spouse as my dependant. So what forms should I filled in?? Please narrate them down for me..!!

1) I had one more question.. what immigration office I choose? The one of my home country or the one in canada?? Cuz I fullfill the requiremnts for both the options.. now whichever is taking less time should be preferable..

2) someone told me here that I'll have to fill up tje additional dependants form to indicate that I am including my spouse to my application as my dependant. Bt on the form it says 'applicant have to fill up this form if he/she has more than five deoendants'.. so what shpuld I do?

3) In the definition of marriage CIC declares that marriage must be legally recognized in the country where it was performed AND in canada. Now I have registered my marriage at backhome. And I have put a work visa file for my spouse.. bt I'v done nothing here in Canada. And nobody does that. I am confused here..!
