Hey guyss..

I need your small favour for my student visa profile..

I did my masters in 2012 and i have an experience in banking industry since last 5 years.

I scored overall 6 in IELTS with minimum 6 in each module.

What are my chances of getting student visa for septermber intake in toronto area?

You will get a visa if your documentation is done perfectly. Also take time on SOP and make strong points.

Thank you for the reply..

Many of the colleges like HUMBER AND SENECCA are expecting diploma courses with overall 6 bands but my consultant is saying that they require 7.5!!!

Should we trust him?
What are the good colleges?

You choice of course would need to make sense after a masters and s job in banking for 5 years. What are you applying for? YOUR IELTS scores are quite low.

Well i did my masters in banking and finance and i am working in banking industry so i prefer INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT is good enough to explore my career.
Most of the colleges give admission at overall 6 bands.

If you've had a banking job for 5 years and a masters (maybe an MBA?) coming to Canada to do a diploma in international business just doesn't make sense. The masters is a more advanced degree.

That is not diploma but a post graduation diploma.

Neither will a PGD in a similar subject. A masters is a more advanced degree. Clearly you are trying to immigrate so why not improve your IELTS and then apply for EE. You can try to apply for the PGD but I am warning you that there will be concerns that you are not a genuine student.

There is a vast difference between indian education and canadian one...
I am coming for a specialization in banking field which wil boost my career..

No other course is appropriate for my profile.

i think you need to retake ielts one more time in order to reduce chances of rejection..rest try your level best with strong sop and cover maximum points to satisfy visa officer. best of luck

Unfortunately a post graduate college diploma is unlileky to get you a good position in a Canadian bank/finance. You will have to see what the response to your visa request will be. Best of luck.

I am sorry i am not getting your point..
It is like some CISC exam is there and one needs to clear it to get a job in banking sector.

Banks and finance jobs in general will be looking to recruit or hire from MBA and BCom programs. They may also be looking to see if yoy have a CFA and various securities courses. College degrees are more practical.
