Confusion with Come to Canada tool - Super visa & trv

Hi all,

I am completing an application for Super visa for my parents.

I have put in the info that they need to visit for more than 6 months and that they have a family member (myself) in Canada.

The Come to Canada tool originated the application for a TRV and it does not request the Medical Insurance, which is usually required for Super Visa.

Anybody had this issue? Do you know possibly why?

Did you mention that they intend to perform a medical within 12 months of submitting the application?

Make sure you choose 'Child / Grand child' when you answer the relationship to applicant in the online questionnaire that will generate all document requests related to Super visa. Also if you are planning to get an upfront medicals done try choosing 'yes' for have you performed medicals in last 12 months question.
